9lokkNine performed at the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival on May 13th, 2018 in Miami, Florida, sharing the stage with rappers including Lil Pump, J. Cole, Travis Scott and Future, among others. 9lokkNine was just 15 years old at the time. He was involved in a shooting that resulted in a 17-year-old girl being hospitalized. Smith was also accused of aggravated battery and unlawful discharge. Smith also was charged with an infraction for violating probation. Smith was then taken to the Orange Regional Juvenile Detention Center. On October 3, 2018, 9lokkNine was arrested on multiple charges, including possessing a concealed weapon by a convicted delinquent and grand theft in the third degree, and possessing less than 20 grams of marijuana. On May 31, 2019, 9lokkNine was arrested in Orlando, Florida, and accused of multiple offenses, including possession of marijuana and illegal possession of firearms. 9lokkNine, a Miami-based gun owner, was charged with carrying concealed weapons. He was accused of second-degree murder and was held in Orlando on July 24, 2020. On the 8th of October, 2020, he was detained in Orlando with an outstanding warrant related to charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of an assault rifle with a short barrel. He was additionally charged with attempted second-degree murder in January 2021. On the 21st of June, 2021, the suspect was arrested for charges that included racketeering and conspiring to be involved in racketeering.
