Kari Matchett is an actress from Canada. She is most famous for her role as Kari in films like "Apartment Hunting", "Men with Brooms", as well as "The Tree of Life." She was born in Spalding (Saskatchewan) and then relocated to Alberta, Canada where she completed her high school. The art of acting was something she discovered during her teens. To further enhance her training in acting, she went to the National Theatre School' in Montreal as well as the Moscow Theatre School'. She first appeared on television in 1996 as a supporting actress on the Canadian series, 'The Rez. She was also featured in series like "Ready or Not" and "Forever Knight". In 1998, she also played the lead role as 'Colleen Blessed' in the Canadian drama series 'Power Play.' The show ran for two seasons and 26 episodes and was highly praised by critics as well as advertisers. For her part in the series she was nominated for the Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June 2013. However, she refused to reveal the father of her son. According to certain sources the father of her son is her ex-boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and Kari Matchett started dating in the late 1990s. The couple got married in 1998. The couple divorced in 2006.
