Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Vincie was born December 10, 1987 and is an American journalist. She works as a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's interest in stock car racing started when she was given an pit lane pass and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. She garnered attention after self-made video blogs on NASCAR were published on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on 10 December of 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family relocated from Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. She is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator for the fifth grade when her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she'd always been interested in from at an early age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School, in 2006. She competed in the track and field, and was a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She was the winner of the 800 meters event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with lots of information. In 2010 Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie was an intern in the Athletics Department of the university. Vincie also held a similar job at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pit-lane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie wrote her senior thesis on gender disparity in auto racing. She mentions Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
