Her parents moved to Dallas, Texas shortly after her birth. She graduated from
Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts in the city
center of Dallas. She obtained her BFA in acting at Stephens College, and also
went to the British American Drama Academy. She also spent six years with the
Dallas Theatre Center, and one year with the Encore Company. Before making her
screen debut, she started her acting career at the theater. Her theatrical
credits include "As You Like It" The "A Funny Thing Happened on
the Way To the Forum" and the "Measure for Measure", the
"Baby" and the "Chicago" productions, among other shows.
Her most memorable performance was in Michael Cristofer's HBO Telefilm Gia
(1998) featuring Angelina Jolie. She made her famous to both the public and
critics. Her charismatic acting talents were apparent in the sci-fi action film
Frequency (2000), which was starring Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute. Elizabeth
Mitchell is an actor with a wide range of credits, including TV series, movies
and theatres. She broke her nose while filming of the film Frequency (2000). In
1994, she appeared in a Hertz Rent-A-Car commercial but "they took it down
because of the O.J. thing." Living with David Lee Smith, ex-Brent from One
Life to Live (1968) in Manhattan's Upper West Side. They live in Dallas with
their parents, who are both tax and real estate attorneys. They returned to the
U.S. from Europe after an extended run as Rosalind in a theater production
"As As You like It". She was born in Los Angeles in the year 1970.
Her parents later relocated to Dallas in Texas. In 1991, she graduated from
Booker T. Washington High School with a major in Visual and Performing Arts,
situated in the Arts District of Dallas. The school graduated Stephens College
in 1991 with an Fine Arts Degree. The actor was in Man and Boy (2002) along
with Ioan Gruffudd. The show was broadcast on BBC 1 TV in March 2002.
